COATS: In general it is best to brush the dirt off rather than washing. The less that coats are washed the longer they will last. The care label can be found on the garment. NO fabric softener or tumble drying as they can dissolve the taping and dry out the laminations which can lead to leaking.
FLEECES: Follow care instructions on label.
Long, waterproof, comfortable and relatively light weight. Does everything required. Inside pocket is a little on the small side and that's about the only (and minor) criticism. Highly recommended.
The company were very helpful with advice on this coat and it arrived very promptly. I love the idea of a four week trial but I am still waiting for some real rain to test it out. I am sure it will do the job very well. The cut is quite straight so is not over generous at the bottom of the zip but otherwise the fit is very comfortable
It is Wednesday 16th November and we just received the first lightweight long coats at our head office in Cornwall (head office sounds big but it is a cottage by the sea really). I was feeling rather anxious - on the strength of the concept designs I have had a vast quantity of these long coats delivered to our warehouse in North Wales. Often with new product launches retailers must commit to a large quantity to give the manufacturer enough motivation to get the project off the ground. I need not have doubted. These coats are beautifully made. The material surprised me - it is not what I expected. I worried that, at such a good price point, the material might be too, let me say it "nylon". It is not. It feels lovely to the touch and I am very pleased indeed about this. The inside of the coat is beautifully made, the designers used poppers rather than velcro. There are two internal pockets and zipped outer pockets. The hood is detachable. And it looks good, beautiful design. I actually think it looks better than on the models in our photographs. Anyway, very happy to be selling this new long, waterproof coat and at such a great price as well.

This is a method used to make materials waterproof by putting a waterproof tape or liquid sealant along the seams (usually on the inside so it can't be seen).
Resists water droplets from passing through. Water resistance is measured by the amount of water, in mm, which can be suspended above the fabrics before water passes.
"Windproof" fabric doesn't let the wind come through. It is very useful to keep you warm. Fabrics are made windproof by membrane or by weaving them very tightly.
We are pretty obsessed with staying dry. As well as using our coats all year round, in all weather conditions, we test them in a variety of ways - including a fairly intense hosepipe test. Even after a full five minutes of hosing the coats remain completely dry inside.
All coats are suitable for general
outdoor activities in the rain.
We strive to hold good stock in all colours and sizes.
