The Tamsyn is the raincoat to reach for when you want to stay properly dry without dressing head-to-toe in waterproofs. Lightweight, easy to throw on and exceptionally long, it gives you generous wet-weather coverage while still being comfortable enough for everyday wear.

Its full “over-the-boot” length is the real advantage. It protects far more than an ordinary rain jacket, helping to keep your legs dry and often removing the need for waterproof trousers. Sizing error

After a slight hiccup with the sizing and a quick return procedure, my wife is very happy with a coat that fits, but has room for a extra layer. Just awaiting some rain for the dog walking, to see if it lives up to its promise

TAPED SEAMS

This is a method used to make materials waterproof by putting a waterproof tape or liquid sealant along the seams (usually on the inside so it can't be seen).

WATERPROOF

Resists water droplets from passing through. Water resistance is measured by the amount of water, in mm, which can be suspended above the fabrics before water passes.

WINDPROOF

"Windproof" fabric doesn't let the wind come through. It is very useful to keep you warm. Fabrics are made windproof by membrane or by weaving them very tightly.

We are pretty obsessed with staying dry. As well as using our coats all year round, in all weather conditions, we test them in a variety of ways - including a fairly intense hosepipe test. Even after a full five minutes of hosing the coats remain completely dry inside.
